Daily Prayers and Readings from Holy Trinity, Corfu.

Please include in your prayers:
- the economic situation in Greece
- the crisis in Syria - for wisdom and compassion.
- the millions of displaced people in the Ukraine.
- the refugees and the European response to their needs
A special prayer for the UK at this time

Eternal God, Light of the nations,
in Christ you make all things new:
guide our nation in the coming days through the inspiration of your Spirit,
that understanding may put an end to discord and all bitterness.
Give us grace to rebuild bonds of trust
that together we may work for the dignity and flourishing of all;
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Wednesday, Psalm119.1-32; Acts 14.8-end; Questions for reflection on Acts:
·       Paul talks about how God has not left people without witnesses – even before Jesus. What is he referring to?
·       After some very difficult times, Paul and Barnabas reflect on their experiences with the people who have chosen to follow Jesus. What are their conclusions (vs 21-23)?
Does their insight shed any light on your own experiences or that of our church?
