Daily Prayers and Readings from Holy Trinity, Corfu.

Please include in your prayers:
- the economic situation in Greece
- the crisis in Syria - for wisdom and compassion.
- the millions of displaced people in the Ukraine.
- the refugees and the European response to their needs
A special prayer for the UK at this time

Eternal God, Light of the nations,
in Christ you make all things new:
guide our nation in the coming days through the inspiration of your Spirit,
that understanding may put an end to discord and all bitterness.
Give us grace to rebuild bonds of trust
that together we may work for the dignity and flourishing of all;
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Tuesday: Psalms 5, 6; Acts 13.44-14.7 Questions for reflection on Acts:
·       The apostles preaching is creating divisions. What are the causes of the divisions?
·       Twice in this reading their opponents resort to violence. How do the apostles respond?
Despite the divisions and the threats, they continue to share the Gospel message. Reflect again on what prevents you from sharing the Gospel with others. Is there anything you can learn from the apostles about your own response to challenges?
