Daily Prayers and Readings from Holy Trinity, Corfu.

Please include in your prayers:
- the economic situation in Greece
- the crisis in Syria - for wisdom and compassion.
- the millions of displaced people in the Ukraine.
- the refugees and the European response to their needs
A special prayer for the UK at this time

Eternal God, Light of the nations,
in Christ you make all things new:
guide our nation in the coming days through the inspiration of your Spirit,
that understanding may put an end to discord and all bitterness.
Give us grace to rebuild bonds of trust
that together we may work for the dignity and flourishing of all;
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Thursday: Psalms 14, 15, 16; Acts 15.1-21; Questions for reflection on Acts:
·        And now the church in Jerusalem meets to reflect together on what God has been doing and how they should respond. In what ways is this council such a good example of the church being the church?
·       What do you think Peter means by the ‘yoke” in vs 10 and 11. Do you think that there may be more ‘yokes’ to be removed by the church today?
What verse speaks to you today? Repeat it and allow the Holy Spirit to speak through it.
