Daily Prayers and Readings from Holy Trinity, Corfu.

Please include in your prayers:
- the economic situation in Greece
- the crisis in Syria - for wisdom and compassion.
- the millions of displaced people in the Ukraine.
- the refugees and the European response to their needs
A special prayer for the UK at this time

Eternal God, Light of the nations,
in Christ you make all things new:
guide our nation in the coming days through the inspiration of your Spirit,
that understanding may put an end to discord and all bitterness.
Give us grace to rebuild bonds of trust
that together we may work for the dignity and flourishing of all;
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Wednesday, Psalm 119.57-80; John 17.20-end Questions on John:
• Jesus again describes the life and love of his disciples together in terms of his relationship with the Father. Who does this mean that we are – together in Him?
• Jesus talks about his presence within us. This is beyond intimacy to a sharing of life in a different way. Reflect what that actually means for you today. How does this make you feel?
• What verse speaks to you today? Repeat it and allow the Holy Spirit to speak through it.
