Daily Prayers and Readings from Holy Trinity, Corfu.

Please include in your prayers:
- the economic situation in Greece
- the crisis in Syria - for wisdom and compassion.
- the millions of displaced people in the Ukraine.
- the refugees and the European response to their needs
A special prayer for the UK at this time

Eternal God, Light of the nations,
in Christ you make all things new:
guide our nation in the coming days through the inspiration of your Spirit,
that understanding may put an end to discord and all bitterness.
Give us grace to rebuild bonds of trust
that together we may work for the dignity and flourishing of all;
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Monday, 15/11; Psalms 46, 47; Revelation 10 Questions for reflection on Revelation:
·        V10 – Bitter/sweet. In what ways do you think the Christian message is both bitter and sweet to those who hear it?
·       Can you think of times in your Christian walk with Jesus where you have felt sadness because of the Gospel? Can you think of times of joy?
·       Pray today for anyone you know who is finding it particularly difficult to receive the Grace revealed in Jesus and is instead choosing to live with different consequences?
What verse speaks to you today? Repeat it and allow the Holy Spirit to speak through it.
