Daily Prayers and Readings from Holy Trinity, Corfu.

Please include in your prayers:
- the economic situation in Greece
- the crisis in Syria - for wisdom and compassion.
- the millions of displaced people in the Ukraine.
- the refugees and the European response to their needs
A special prayer for the UK at this time

Eternal God, Light of the nations,
in Christ you make all things new:
guide our nation in the coming days through the inspiration of your Spirit,
that understanding may put an end to discord and all bitterness.
Give us grace to rebuild bonds of trust
that together we may work for the dignity and flourishing of all;
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Tuesday: Psalms 32, 36; Acts 16.25-end Questions for reflection on Acts:
·        Paul’s focus on others receiving the love of Jesus gives perspective of his situation we might not expect. How does he demonstrate this?
·       This turbulent episode of Paul’s ends in a very surprising way – who would have imagined a public escort and an invitation to stay in a Christian household! Is there a situation where you are ‘over-imagining’ an outcome where God could be about to surprise you?
What verse speaks to you today? Repeat it and allow the Holy Spirit to speak through it.
