Daily Prayers and Readings from Holy Trinity, Corfu.

Please include in your prayers:
- the economic situation in Greece
- the crisis in Syria - for wisdom and compassion.
- the millions of displaced people in the Ukraine.
- the refugees and the European response to their needs
A special prayer for the UK at this time

Eternal God, Light of the nations,
in Christ you make all things new:
guide our nation in the coming days through the inspiration of your Spirit,
that understanding may put an end to discord and all bitterness.
Give us grace to rebuild bonds of trust
that together we may work for the dignity and flourishing of all;
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Thursday: St. Michael and All Angels; Psalm 103.19-22; Revelation 12.7-12; Questions on Revelation:
·       A vision of a might battle between the angels! What words are used to describe the nature of the victory and the work of the one defeated? (v10)
·       Do you ever feel ‘accused’ spiritually – made to feel unworthy? What about? Take time to remember that the one who accuses has already been defeated! If you have time, read again Romans 8 and take hold afresh of the new life you have been given.
What verse speaks to you today? Repeat it and allow the Holy Spirit to speak through it.
