Daily Prayers and Readings from Holy Trinity, Corfu.

Please include in your prayers:
- the economic situation in Greece
- the crisis in Syria - for wisdom and compassion.
- the millions of displaced people in the Ukraine.
- the refugees and the European response to their needs
A special prayer for the UK at this time

Eternal God, Light of the nations,
in Christ you make all things new:
guide our nation in the coming days through the inspiration of your Spirit,
that understanding may put an end to discord and all bitterness.
Give us grace to rebuild bonds of trust
that together we may work for the dignity and flourishing of all;
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Thursday: Psalm 78.1-39; Acts 23:12 – 24:23 Questions for reflection on Acts:
·       Now we know why Paul was at such great pains to make himself blameless according to the law in his preparation to come to Jerusalem! (Acts 21:26) He stands blameless before his accusers. In what ways is it important for Christians today to “be blameless” in this way in the world today? Is there anything you need to resolve to start doing differently?
What verse speaks to you today? Repeat it and allow the Holy Spirit to speak through it.
