Daily Prayers and Readings from Holy Trinity, Corfu.

Please include in your prayers:
- the economic situation in Greece
- the crisis in Syria - for wisdom and compassion.
- the millions of displaced people in the Ukraine.
- the refugees and the European response to their needs
A special prayer for the UK at this time

Eternal God, Light of the nations,
in Christ you make all things new:
guide our nation in the coming days through the inspiration of your Spirit,
that understanding may put an end to discord and all bitterness.
Give us grace to rebuild bonds of trust
that together we may work for the dignity and flourishing of all;
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Friday: Psalms51, 54; Acts 21.1-16 Questions for reflection on Acts:
·       Despite the warnings to the contrary, Paul continue to Jerusalem. Was he right to do so?
·       If Paul was right, what was the purpose of the prophecies he received?
·       Paul (in Corinthians) encourages us to desire this gift for the building up of the church. Pray for this gift for yourself and the church as part of your prayers today.
What verse speaks to you today? Repeat it and allow the Holy Spirit to speak through it.
