Daily Prayers and Readings from Holy Trinity, Corfu.

Please include in your prayers:
- the economic situation in Greece
- the crisis in Syria - for wisdom and compassion.
- the millions of displaced people in the Ukraine.
- the refugees and the European response to their needs
A special prayer for the UK at this time

Eternal God, Light of the nations,
in Christ you make all things new:
guide our nation in the coming days through the inspiration of your Spirit,
that understanding may put an end to discord and all bitterness.
Give us grace to rebuild bonds of trust
that together we may work for the dignity and flourishing of all;
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Tuesday: Psalms 32, 36, Galatians 2.1-10 Questions for reflection based on Galatians:

·       It took some time for the apostles to work out what God was doing – Peter to the Jews, Paul to Gentiles. Why do you think this was? Why was this perspective of the parallel ministries of the two apostles so important – what was the result of this insight? Is there anything our church needs to learn from this?
What verse speaks to you today? Repeat it slowly and allow the Holy Spirit to speak through it.
