Please include in your prayers:
- the economic situation in Greece
- the crisis in Syria - for wisdom and compassion.
- the millions of displaced people in the Ukraine.
- the refugees and the European response to their needs
A special prayer for the UK at this time

Eternal God, Light of the nations,
in Christ you make all things new:
guide our nation in the coming days through the inspiration of your Spirit,
that understanding may put an end to discord and all bitterness.
Give us grace to rebuild bonds of trust
that together we may work for the dignity and flourishing of all;
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Friday: Psalm31; John 16.16-22 Questions for reflection on John:
·       Jesus points to the joy of the resurrection following the sorrow of His passion. The disciples, as yet, cannot see this. It is often easy to become so immersed in the troubles of the day that we lose the wonder of the eternal life that we are embarked upon. Take a few moments to let this truth sink in again. You are God’s child made for eternity.
·       Pray for anyone you know today who may be overburdened with a difficult or painful situation. Pray both for deliverance from this and for this wider vision of their lives for them.
What verse speaks to you today? Repeat it and allow the Holy Spirit to speak through it.
