Daily Prayers and Readings from Holy Trinity, Corfu.

Please include in your prayers:
- the economic situation in Greece
- the crisis in Syria - for wisdom and compassion.
- the millions of displaced people in the Ukraine.
- the refugees and the European response to their needs
A special prayer for the UK at this time

Eternal God, Light of the nations,
in Christ you make all things new:
guide our nation in the coming days through the inspiration of your Spirit,
that understanding may put an end to discord and all bitterness.
Give us grace to rebuild bonds of trust
that together we may work for the dignity and flourishing of all;
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Tuesday: Psalms 87, 89.1-18; Acts 26.24-end Questions for reflection on Acts:
·       The king and the governor Paul stands before appear to be divided. How does Paul respond to this?
·       Paul longs for others to know Jesus as he does – despite the challenges he has faced. Are there times when the cost of following Jesus seems high? How would you describe that cost? Take some time to think about what it is that your faith in Jesus has given you and offer thanks for these gifts.
What verse speaks to you today? Repeat it and allow the Holy Spirit to speak through it.
