This reading is
one of the first “interactions” between the “state” and the “church”. How do
you think it turned out? Take a moment to pray for the relationship between the
church and the state in Greece and the UK. How and what are you guided to pray?

Paul’s vow is
unclear but a supposition is that it completed a Jewish vow he had made earlier
(possibly not to cut his hair while was part of a religious group and to cut it
when he left). If this were true he would be doing it so as to be right in
front of Jews. Why would this be important to Paul, despite so many arguments
that lived under Grace?
What
verse speaks to you today? Repeat it and allow the Holy Spirit to speak through
it.
