Daily Prayers and Readings from Holy Trinity, Corfu.

Please include in your prayers:
- the economic situation in Greece
- the crisis in Syria - for wisdom and compassion.
- the millions of displaced people in the Ukraine.
- the refugees and the European response to their needs
A special prayer for the UK at this time

Eternal God, Light of the nations,
in Christ you make all things new:
guide our nation in the coming days through the inspiration of your Spirit,
that understanding may put an end to discord and all bitterness.
Give us grace to rebuild bonds of trust
that together we may work for the dignity and flourishing of all;
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Tuesday, 28/6: Psalm 106; Luke 19.41-end; Questions for reflection on Luke:
·       The passage starts with Jesus weeping over the city he enters. What does this tell us of the motivations behind is actions at the end of the passage?
·       After the clearing of the temple, Jesus sits and teaches. Why?
·       Take a moment to think about what really ignites you into action? Is this a call from God to shape the world around you in His ways?
What verse speaks to you today? Repeat it and allow the Holy Spirit to speak through it.
