Daily Prayers and Readings from Holy Trinity, Corfu.

Please include in your prayers:
- the economic situation in Greece
- the crisis in Syria - for wisdom and compassion.
- the millions of displaced people in the Ukraine.
- the refugees and the European response to their needs
A special prayer for the UK at this time

Eternal God, Light of the nations,
in Christ you make all things new:
guide our nation in the coming days through the inspiration of your Spirit,
that understanding may put an end to discord and all bitterness.
Give us grace to rebuild bonds of trust
that together we may work for the dignity and flourishing of all;
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Saturday, 4/6: Psalms 41, 42, 43; Luke 12.49-end Questions on Luke:
·       Jesus expects that there will be trouble between those who choose to follow him and those who do not. What causes this conflict?
·       Ultimately, Jesus’ revelation of the ways of truth and integrity mean that the basis for our ultimate judgment has been made clear – and – that forgiveness and love will be both the benchmark and the means by which are safe. Is there anything you need  to do today in the light of this revelation?
What verse speaks to you today? Repeat it slowly and allow the Holy Spirit to speak through it.
