Daily Prayers and Readings from Holy Trinity, Corfu.

Please include in your prayers:
- the economic situation in Greece
- the crisis in Syria - for wisdom and compassion.
- the millions of displaced people in the Ukraine.
- the refugees and the European response to their needs
A special prayer for the UK at this time

Eternal God, Light of the nations,
in Christ you make all things new:
guide our nation in the coming days through the inspiration of your Spirit,
that understanding may put an end to discord and all bitterness.
Give us grace to rebuild bonds of trust
that together we may work for the dignity and flourishing of all;
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Friday, 20/5: Psalms 142, 144; Luke 10.1-16 Questions for reflection on Luke:
·       HTC as with many churches could do so much more if there were people willing to prioritise their time and resources in mission and ministry. Pray today for more labourers.
·       Jesus does not “sugar coat” the mission of the disciples. Rather he presents the difficult reality of the consequences of people’s spiritual decisions. Is there a particular place that you feel needs to be prayed for today?
What verse speaks to you today? Repeat it and allow the Holy Spirit to speak through it.
