Please include in your prayers:

- the millions of displaced people in the Ukraine.
- the refugees and the European response to their needs
A special prayer for the UK at this time

Eternal God, Light of the nations,
in Christ you make all things new:
guide our nation in the coming days through the inspiration of your Spirit,
that understanding may put an end to discord and all bitterness.
Give us grace to rebuild bonds of trust
that together we may work for the dignity and flourishing of all;
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Wednesday 20/4: Psalm 135; Luke 3.15-22 Questions for reflection on Luke:
·       John speaks of the separation of the wheat and the chaff. In our own lives, the wheat (the goodness) is nurtured by the Spirit and the chaff (the “grot”) is destroyed. Reflect over the past few months, how is this going? Can you discern changes for the better? If so give t hanks, if not ask for the Spirit’s guidance to renew you impetus with Him.
What verse speaks to you today? Repeat it and allow the Holy Spirit to speak through it.
