Daily Prayers and Readings from Holy Trinity, Corfu.

Please include in your prayers:
- the economic situation in Greece
- the crisis in Syria - for wisdom and compassion.
- the millions of displaced people in the Ukraine.
- the refugees and the European response to their needs
A special prayer for the UK at this time

Eternal God, Light of the nations,
in Christ you make all things new:
guide our nation in the coming days through the inspiration of your Spirit,
that understanding may put an end to discord and all bitterness.
Give us grace to rebuild bonds of trust
that together we may work for the dignity and flourishing of all;
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Monday, St. Mark’s Day: Psalm 119.9-16, Mark13.5-13: Questions for reflection on Mark:
·       Although persecution is not an immediate threat to the church in Corfu, there are always risks to the church growing in number and faith. What are our main risks? How can we combat them?
·       Pray today for the persecuted church across the world – especially in the Middle East and the growing threat in Turkey.
What verse speaks to you today? Repeat it and allow the Holy Spirit to speak through it.
