Daily Prayers and Readings from Holy Trinity, Corfu.

Please include in your prayers:
- the economic situation in Greece
- the crisis in Syria - for wisdom and compassion.
- the millions of displaced people in the Ukraine.
- the refugees and the European response to their needs
A special prayer for the UK at this time

Eternal God, Light of the nations,
in Christ you make all things new:
guide our nation in the coming days through the inspiration of your Spirit,
that understanding may put an end to discord and all bitterness.
Give us grace to rebuild bonds of trust
that together we may work for the dignity and flourishing of all;
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Friday: Psalm 107; Luke 2.1-20 Questions for reflection on Luke:
·        “Peace among those with whom he is pleased!” This is ambiguous. In which ways can it be interpreted? How do you see it?
·       Jesus came for those on the edges of society, - the poor and disrespected - like the shepherds. Hold those in this world who are still rejected by the mainstream.
What verse speaks to you today? Repeat it and allow the Holy Spirit to speak through it.
